“Don’t expect just tulle and toe shoes. In this fascinating insider’s tale, NYCB dancer Pazcoguin reveals her world. . . . A striking debut.” —People
Award-winning New York City Ballet soloist Georgina Pazcoguin, aka the Rogue Ballerina, gives readers a backstage tour of the real world of elite ballet—the gritty, hilarious, sometimes shocking truth you don’t see from the orchestra circle.
In this love letter to the art of dance and the sport that has been her livelihood, NYCB’s first Asian American female soloist Georgina Pazcoguin lays bare her unfiltered story of leaving small-town Pennsylvania for New York City and training amid the unique demands of being a hybrid professional athlete/artist, all before finishing high school. She pitches us into the fascinating, whirling shoes of dancers in one of the most revered ballet companies in the world with an unapologetic sense of humor about the cutthroat, survival-of-the-fittest mentality at NYCB. Some swan dives are literal: even in the ballet, there are plenty of face-plants, backstage fights, late-night parties, and raucous company bonding sessions.

Editor: This book is a deliciously slow read.

The One S is a little speaker with big ambitions. It would be difficult to pack more sophisticated audio technology into such a small space. A sophisticated 2-way coax driver system consisting of a 100 mm midbass driver and forward-placed 20 mm tweeter create a highly accurate soundstage across all frequencies. Two side-mounted passive bass radiators generate a surprisingly powerful and punchy 45 Hertz low end. An integrated 50 watt amplifier fires the One S to high, distortion-free levels in even larger rooms. A high-end DAC from Cirrus Logic supports even lossless digital audio files like FLAC. Digital signal processors eliminate any unwanted resonances…

I was surprised how great these speaks sounded. It has a very well balanced sound. I was amazed by the deep bass, clear mids and detailed highs in such a compact speaker. I like how I can stream my music from my personal collection and my favorite streaming services without loss of quality. I’ve bought other bluetooth speakers and I can honestly say the Raumfeld One S beats them all.
I really like the minimalism of its design, intuitive buttons and build quality is very solid. It fits in well with in our mid century modern apartment. I can see myself expanding the system with extra speakers throughout the apartment, which would be great for parties. This Raumfeld speaker has a really great sound, I would definitely recommend it. – Amazon Comment
Don’t you hate it when your favorite beverage loses its frosty (or piping hot) goodness before you have a chance to fully enjoy it? We sure do, and that’s why we over-engineered our Rambler Tumblers with kitchen-grade 18/8 stainless steel and double-wall vacuum insulation. The result is a tough, hard-wearing personal drink cooler that maintains ice twice as long as plastic tumblers — and it works just as well for hot beverages. The lid that keeps your liquid in its place is easy to clean, shatter resistant and crystal clear so you know exactly how much of your drink you still have to look forward to. Dishwasher safe.

I have both the 32 oz and the 20 oz versions of this cup and they are the best there is in my opinion. The 32 seems to hold ice longer than the 20 and it’s the one I use for road trips and outdoor days. (It probably holds ice longer simply because you can put more ice in it than the 20). It fits in a standard cup holder so you can easily use it in your car. The 20 is actually my favorite of the two because it is smaller and less bulky. I tend to use it more around the house and office and it just has a good feel to it. Both of them never sweat and they keep drinks cold for a VERY long time.
I’ve given several of these as gifts and everyone has raved about them. Some have told me they looked them up before using them and were skeptical about all the hype, but when they used them, they became believers!
You won’t be disappointed I with this cup! – Amazon Comment
This product works very well. I have only used it a few times and each time it keeps ice in the cup for well over 8 hours.
